the Pop-Up Robotic Gaming Grounds Project

The PURGG Project is FullBlast STEAM's ongoing volunteer-based R&D initiative.

Calling on Students, hobbyists, professionals & tinkerers of all types!

Volunteer your time, energy, and all the 21st Century skills at your disposal to help design and prototype the open-source, physical-digital hybrid interactive experiences we use to engage the youth & families of Baltimore & beyond.

A unique implementation of the FBS vison, the PURGG Project brings the brightest minds in our communities together to contribute to our ongoing effort of introducing our communities to the opportunities and benefits of  S.T.E.A.M. education, via the most fun and attractive projects ever!

The PURGG project has joined the AWS DeepRacer                                                  Community!

We are the only team in the Baltimore area and are actively embarking on our machine learning journey, using the AWS platform. The PURGG project team is programming our 2 racers every week to virtually compete against teams from around the world.

Soon we will host our own virtual racing events for groups of young engineers in the area.

As always, the goal for all of our PURGG activities is to provide context and opportunities for Tech Students and Tech Professionals to stick around long enough to help the next generation of racers and programmers.
